I've got pals in production, we all know how it works. Really, the director often just wants a handful of topshots of a country house, or a fish farm, it's only a two minute video. " Can we afford a drone operator for that?...er...not really" 

Many camera operators come with a drone but it's time that's the issue, it's so often a better use of the day if camera keeps on doing what camera does, shooting B roll indoors, whilst the bloke who's suddenly not doing anything, me, goes out and gets the aerials.
